Standing up for a brighter future. Kathryn Driscoll, Newton Abbot. Vote green 2017

Kathryn Driscoll for Newton Abbot

Newton Abbot needs someone who will be unapologetically brave in the fight for a fair and equal society. Someone who will listen to reason and to the needs of their constituents rather than simply following the orders of their Party’s whip.

I am 23 and I dedicate my time to the causes that are close to my heart. I will fight for equality, prioritising the rights of LGBTIQA+ people, of disabled people, of young people and of women and non-binary people. I will  fight to protect workers’ rights and defend our public services.

Free and accessible education is our right. Protecting the environment for future generations is our imperative. Ensuring close cooperation with our neighbours in Europe to secure our economy is wise.  I will strive to protect local NHS services, funding for Devon’s schools and the special environment in which we live. I will fight to secure a referendum on the outcome of the Brexit negotiations, as well as standing up for freedom of movement, the rights of migrants and the protections that the EU gives us.

If you are fed up with the politics of recent times, then vote for change, vote brave and vote Green.
